To disseminate best professional practices for the management of medical waste, ERAMEDIC, with the support of the company ECODAS, has produced a guidebook titled “Le traitement des déchets d’activités de soins en dix questions”. This guide was distributed free of charge in 5,000 copies to health, science, and educational institutions (medical schools, dental schools, engineering schools, higher technology schools, etc.).

This guide addresses essential questions regarding the identification of hazardous medical waste and the associated risks, appropriate disposal methods, and the complex organization of the waste management process as part of an environmental management approach.

ERAMEDIC, with the support of the GETINGE Group, developed the guidebook "La stérilisation des dispositifs médicaux", distributed free of charge in 5,000 copies to promote best practices in the sterilization of medical devices. This publication provides a summary of best practices followed in Europe, in particular, for the treatment of medical devices.

ERAMEDIC, with the support of FUJINON, developed a guidebook titled “La désinfection des endoscopes non autoclavables", distributed for free in 2,000 copies. This guide offers a summary of numerous recommendations, particularly, from European and American sources, regarding the treatment of endoscopes that cannot undergo the standard autoclave sterilization processes used in surgery.
